This trend helped in rapid expansion of ict use in business and also at the household level. With deregulation of vast an exponential growth of isp services took place in recent days. At present there are some sixty one internet service provider in the country with vast connectivity mostly through honking and Singapore. At the isps are in the private sector and provide  a range of internet services like email browsing Chittagong pc to pc call net to phone email to fax etc. today cyber cafes have mushroomed in Dhaka and some other majors cities. According to sources Bangladesh entered into the optical fiber cables for its nationwide community’s network. Besides at present there are about one million fixed line phones provide by the bttb and about twenty million mobile phones provided by six cellular operator grammen phone city cell aktel banglelink tele talk and warid telecom. Despite this  there is still significant demand for telephones particularly for internet connection.
